We were commissioned by Triyoga to refurbish a two storey, former piano factory for use as their new North London yoga centre.

The reception, café, changing rooms and treatment rooms are arranged on the ground floor, where we employed earthy materials and colours. In contrast, the yoga studios on the first floor are predominantly white and airy. The process of moving from the ground floor to the first floor, from darkness into light, is intended to represent a journey of spiritual enlightenment. We chose to retain some of the building's existing distressed finishes to add textural richness and a sense of history.

Cassion Castle Architects carried out the construction work on this project within a tight timeframe. The 9000 square foot fit-out was completed in 16 weeks.
